The New Rock Tamers

If you tow a boat, fifth wheel or trailer then you have probably noticed big mud flaps on the back of trucks from time to time. The most popular mud flap system on the market it called Rock Tamers. How do these mud flaps work? The system attaches to your receiver hitch, sitting directly behind your truck or SUV. The location of the system stops more rocks and more debris from kicking up versus smaller mud flap applications. The best part is this system is both adjustable and removable. Feeling like taking the wife out on the town? Take the truck! Remove the mudflap system in minutes and your ready to go. Plus, they are lightweight for easy storage on the garage wall.

This blog is titled, "The New Rock Tamers" because Cruiser Accessories just launched a new, two times as strong forged set of Rock Tamers. First, this system has a few different parts that are worth noting. These parts include: a center hub (used to attach to your vehicle), two spindles, two adjustable arms and two mud flaps. The original models are made of cast aluminum and are very strong. They will take rock damage and are rust resistant. However, the new forged model is twice as strong and made of double strength forged aluminum. This makes for an insanely strong mud flap system that will not break or snap. The arms on a hitch system must be very strong to resist vibrations from on and off road surfaces. This new forged system counters the vibrations and gives of the strong system yet. Oh, you also get a lifetime warranty.
